This role is instrumental in driving product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will serve as a key quality leader, partnering with customers, operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance, improve performance, and strengthen the site's quality culture.\nHow will you make an impact?\nAs a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing product quality, customer satisfaction, and manufacturing performance. You will lead quality initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirements. Through strong leadership, technical expertise, and customer engagement, you will help deliver world-class products while advancing the site's Quality Management System and operational excellence objectives.\nWhat will you do?\nLead quality engineering activities supporting new product introduction (NPI), production, and customer programs.\nServe as the primary quality interface for customers, supporting audits, quality reviews, escalations, and issue resolution.\nDrive the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the site's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and industry standards.\nLead investigations of customer complaints, internal nonconformances, and manufacturing defects using structured root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.\nDevelop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve quality and reduce risk.\nPartner with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and program management teams to proactively identify and mitigate quality risks.\nFacilitate PFMEAs, control plans, process validations, inspection plans, and other quality planning activities for new and existing products.\nAnalyze quality metrics and performance data to identify trends, drive improvements, and communicate results to leadership.\nSupport internal, customer, and third-party audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to quality engineers and cross-functional teams on quality tools, systems, and best practices.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical problem-solving methodologies.\nSupport supplier quality activities including qualification, performance monitoring, and corrective action management.\nHow will you get here?\nBachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related technical field.\nMinimum of 5 years of progressive Quality Engineering experience within electronics manufacturing, EMS, or another complex manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated experience working directly with customers to resolve quality concerns, lead audits, and manage quality performance.\nStrong experience developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).\nProven ability to lead cross-functional quality initiatives and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.\nExperience utilizing quality tools and methodologies including FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Whys, CAPA, and root cause analysis.\nExperience supporting NPI, process validation, and manufacturing quality improvement initiatives.\nExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:\nAdvanced knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management System requirements.\nStrong leadership and mentoring capabilities.\nCustomer-focused mindset with excellent relationship management skills.\nExpertise in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.\nStrong analytical and statistical problem-solving skills.\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.\nExperience driving continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong collaboration and communication skills across operations, engineering, supply chain, and executive leadership teams.\nProficiency with quality metrics, reporting tools, and statistical analysis software.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience within large-form-factor electronics manufacturing, complex electromechanical assembly, or high-mix/high-volume manufacturing environments.\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.\nExperience leading customer audits and regulatory compliance initiatives.\nKnowledge of supplier quality management and supplier development practices.\nExperience with advanced quality planning methodologies and Operational Excellence programs.\nFamiliarity with customer-specific quality requirements in electronics manufacturing.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
