You will develop and execute quality initiatives that ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements while driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.\nLocation: On-site at our Grand Junction, CO facility\nShift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM\nWhat Will You Do?\nTalent & Team Leadership\nRecruit, hire, develop, coach, and retain Quality Engineers, Quality Analysts, and Out-of-Box Audit (OBA) personnel.\nIdentify team strengths and development needs, establish training plans, and manage succession planning for the Quality organization.\nFoster employee engagement through coaching, performance feedback, recognition, and career development.\nPerformance & Operational Excellence\nEstablish and monitor team and individual goals using operational metrics, project deliverables, training completion, attendance, and development objectives.\nConduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing coaching, and drive continuous improvement in quality performance and organizational goals.\nCoordinate team activities and maintain operational focus during periods of business disruption or crisis.\nBusiness & Functional Leadership\nDevelop and execute Quality strategies aligned with campus and workcell objectives.\nProvide regular updates to business and operations leadership regarding strategy execution, performance results, and improvement initiatives.\nPrepare departmental forecasts, monitor cost performance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process simplification and elimination of non-value-added activities.\nQuality Systems & Continuous Improvement\nDrive continuous improvement through metrics management, trend analysis, and implementation of best practices.\nEvaluate data collection methods, measurement systems, procedures, and work instructions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.\nSupport customer requirements by prioritizing issue resolution and maintaining a strong customer-service focus.\nMaintain compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements and serve as the Quality Management Representative (QMR).\nShare knowledge and best practices across facilities to support organizational improvement.\nCommunication & Compliance\nFacilitate regular communication within the department and encourage employee feedback and collaboration.\nCommunicate effectively with team members and leadership using appropriate verbal and written communication methods.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, confidentiality expectations, and security procedures.\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field. \nMinimum 7 years of progressive quality/manufacturing experience. \nMinimum 2 years of leadership experience. \nThis position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
