Our team members are highly skilled professionals dedicated to producing world-class tooling solutions.\nPosition Overview\nThe Technical Business Unit Associate plays a key role in coordinating between leadership, program management, and engineering teams within the NyproMold Business Unit (BU). This position supports daily BU operations and serves as a technical customer-facing team member, working closely with senior principal tooling engineers to operational clients servicing their asset lifecycle spares management needs. In parallel, the role will support the operational needs of other books of business within the Business Unit by coordinating internal activities, maintaining business processes, and helping improve overall organizational efficiency. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking to gain hands-on experience in business operations, project coordination, and strategic development within a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment, with ample room for growth, creativity, and professional development.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the Sr. Business Unit Director and Technical (BU) Managers & Coordinators in daily operations.\nSupport asset lifecycle management by communicating with clients to understand spare component needs, interpreting technical requirements, coordinating internally across relevant teams, and assisting with proposal development.\nOver time, develop the knowledge and experience necessary to independently manage spares within the BU.\nDevelop a strong understanding of mold basics, metrology/CMM inspection, and application through training and hands on use.\nBuild on an established business plan aimed at achieving spares revenue & profit contribution objectives.\nIdentify, target & engage customers that fit account profile.\nCoordinate with leadership, program managers, and engineers to help manage project plans, reports, BOMs, and customer-specific requirements.\nMaintain regular communication with project teams to ensure transactions align with customer satisfaction and project performance goals.\nContribute to business development, including market opportunity identification and growth strategies.\nSupport NyproMold’s marketing initiatives, materials, and website to enhance global brand recognition and footprint along with tracking budget.\nAssist in project management and customer relationship initiatives (NDAs, UX, NPS, Customer Website Portal, etc.).\nUpdate company presentations, forecasts, quote records, team spending.\nHandle general office administrative tasks such as but not limited to: data entry, health & safety, visits/travel, documentation, customer swag, etc.\nMonitor ongoing project activities, address challenges, and escalate issues as needed.\nLead or assist with other projects as assigned by the BUD & leadership and deemed necessary.\nQualifications\nPursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, scientific discipline, or a related field is a plus.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).\nSome experience in Google Analytics and PPC marketing (Google Ads, Bing, etc.) is beneficial\nSome experience in Adobe Suite and B2B marketing experience, is beneficial\nExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including basic/intermediate math (ratios, percentages, etc.).\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to collect, analyze, and summarize data sets to present findings effectively to managers, colleagues, and customers.\nProactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges, independently and collaboratively.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and/or sit for extended periods.\nWork Environment\nThis position operates in a precision manufacturing environment and requires adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
