If you're ready to help transform an industry and grow with a company that values purpose, collaboration, and excellence then we’d love to meet you.\nUnder minimal supervision, the Senior Strategic Project Manager manages the implementation, planning, execution, control and closing of projects which cross divisional organizational boundaries; or projects which design and implement products which will affect the entire corporation; or projects which design and implement corporate processes. This individual will specifically support projects within the Banking organization and will require experience working with one of Jack Henry's banking core solutions.\nThis is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Overland Park, KS; Cedar Falls, IA; Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC; Louisville, KY; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.\nThe salary range for this position is $88,650- $130,000 and will be determined based on location and experience level.\nAll positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.\nWhat you’ll be responsible for:\nManages the development and implementation of new or upgraded products and/or manages the creation and implementation of corporate processes for the foundational cores.\nManages operational readiness and client testing to ready products for market.\nMonitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. \nOrganizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project is on schedule and within budget constraints.\nProvides mentoring and support to other project managers in dealing with project management issues for their assigned projects.\nDemonstrates excellent project management skills.\nAssists less experienced peers.\nMay perform other duties as assigned.\nWhat you’ll need to have:\nMinimum of 6 years of project management or financial institution experience.\nExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools.\nWhat would be nice for you to have:\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.\nBachelor's degree.\nHas a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues. Works on complex and diverse projects. Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.\nExcellent communication and customer interaction skills.\nExcellent knowledge and experience of the project management body of knowledge.\nExcellent understanding of industry project management practices.\nGeneral knowledge of software development/IT practices and procedures.\nAble to assist/coach less experienced peers.\nAble to complete successful product design and implementation projects that are on schedule, within budget and receive high customer satisfaction results.\nAble to meet deadlines.\nAble to use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.\nAble to manage multiple projects at a time.\nAble to interact and communicate effectively with senior internal and external personnel.\nIf you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this opportunity.
