You will work directly with financial institutions, potentially third-party vendors, and internal teams to investigate filing issues, analyze IRS acknowledgements, and help customers successfully meet regulatory filing deadlines.\nThis is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Springfield, MO or Monett, MO.\nAll positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.\nWhat you’ll be responsible for:\nProcess and monitor electronic tax file submissions to the IRS.\nReview IRS acknowledgements, rejections, and accepted-with-error responses.\nTroubleshoot file validation, formatting, transmission, and processing issues.\nAnalyze file processing results and identify corrective actions.\nDocument findings, resolutions, and customer communications.\nPartner with operations, development, product, and support teams to resolve client-impacting issues.\nSupport customers during critical filing periods and tax reporting deadlines.\nAssist with testing activities related to IRS regulatory changes and system enhancements.\nMay perform other job duties as assigned.\nWhat you’ll need to have:\n3+ years of experience in technical support, application support, implementation, or backroom bank operations. \nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience working directly with customers to resolve technical issues.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.\nAbility to work extended hours during peak tax reporting periods as business needs dictate.\nWhat would be nice for you to have:\nExperience with XML, CSV, or file-based data processing.\nFinancial services or fintech experience.\nExperience supporting regulatory or compliance-related products.\nKnowledge of electronic filing processes or IRS reporting requirements.\nExperience with secure file transfers and data validation.\nIf you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this opportunity.
