THAT is Link Snacks.\n Position Summary\nThe Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Technician is responsible for executing Perry's condition-based maintenance program to improve equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, extend asset life, and lower maintenance costs. This position performs vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound inspections, motor testing, and condition monitoring activities across the facility's manufacturing, packaging, utilities, refrigeration, and support systems.\nThe PdM Technician partners closely with the Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Supervisors, Asset Reliability Planner, Controls Engineering team, and Operations leadership to identify equipment failures before they occur and drive proactive maintenance actions.\nThe position plays a critical role in supporting Perry's reliability strategy, TPM deployment, and 2027 operational growth objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nPredictive Maintenance Program Execution\nConduct scheduled vibration analysis routes on critical rotating equipment.\nPerform infrared thermography inspections of electrical and mechanical assets.\nExecute airborne and structure-borne ultrasound inspections.\nCollect oil and lubricant samples for analysis.\nConduct motor circuit testing and electrical condition assessments.\nMonitor equipment condition using predictive maintenance technologies.\nMaintain condition monitoring databases and historical equipment records.\nEquipment Reliability\nIdentify developing equipment failures before breakdown occurs.\nGenerate work requests based on PdM findings.\nRecommend corrective actions to maintenance and reliability teams.\nAssist with asset criticality reviews.\nSupport bad actor equipment analysis.\nParticipate in root cause failure investigations.\nAssist in reducing repetitive equipment failures.\nReporting & Data Analysis\nReview vibration, thermal, oil analysis, and ultrasound results.\nDocument findings and communicate risks to the Reliability Engineer.\nDevelop equipment condition reports and maintenance recommendations.\nMaintain accurate PdM inspection records.\nTrack equipment health indicators and reliability trends.\nMaintenance Planning Support\nProvide condition-based maintenance recommendations.\nAssist Asset Reliability Planner with work prioritization.\nHelp define repair scopes based on inspection findings.\nIdentify equipment requiring immediate intervention.\nSupport planned shutdown activities.\nTPM and Continuous Improvement\nSupport TPM implementation initiatives.\nParticipate in focused improvement teams.\nAssist in developing operator asset-care programs.\nSupport reliability-driven cost reduction projects.\nRecommend improvements to maintenance effectiveness and asset performance.\nFood Safety and Regulatory Compliance\nFollow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation requirements.\nAdhere to Lockout/Tagout procedures.\nComply with all safety, environmental, and facility regulations.\nMaintain equipment access procedures that protect product integrity.\nPrimary Assets Supported\nPackaging\nMultivac systems\nThermoformers\nPackaging conveyors\nLabelers\nCheckweighers\nMetal detectors\nVacuum systems\nProcessing\nMixers\nGrinders\nPumps\nStuffers\nConveying systems\nUtilities\nAir compressors\nBoilers\nWater systems\nRefrigeration systems\nHVAC systems\nFacility Equipment\nMotors\nGearboxes\nBearings\nFans\nElectrical distribution equipment\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nThe PdM Technician will be measured on:\nReliability\nReduction in unplanned downtime\nIncrease in Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)\nReduction in emergency work orders\nPredictive Maintenance\nPdM route completion rate (>95%)\nPdM findings converted to planned work\nDefect identification rate\nCondition-monitoring compliance\nMaintenance Performance\nReduction in reactive maintenance\nReduction in maintenance overtime\nIncreased planned maintenance percentage\nReduction in repeat failures\nFinancial\nDowntime cost avoidance\nMaintenance cost avoidance\nReduced contractor spending\nReduced emergency repair costs\n Education\nOne of the following:\nAssociate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field; The role exists to transition Perry from a reactive maintenance environment toward a predictive, reliability-centered maintenance culture capable of supporting future growth, reducing maintenance costs, increasing equipment uptime, and improving overall plant performance.\n The pay range for this role is $35 -$38 (Hourly). Actual wage will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Link Snacks Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
