Responsibilities include determining the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of each production area. Completed documentation and carries out responsibilities in accordance with company policy and procedures.\nThe duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:\nSAFETY\nPerform all duties within OSHA and company safety standards; LOTO, wear PPE and maintain safety equipment.\n\nEnforce all safety rules and company policies.\nMaintain a safe, clean and organized work area.\nImmediately report all accidents and deficiencies to management, complete accident investigations.\nEnsure safety devices are installed and working properly.\nMonitor work environment for general food safety hazards such as condensation monitoring, etc.\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as necessary.\nGENERAL\nResponsible for overseeing production across all shifts\nCoordinates work schedule and work procedures to meet production schedules. \nAnalyzes and resolves problems or assists team members in solving problems.\nEnsures start ups are timely . \nInvestigate production issues and work to identify root cause and corrective actions. \nDevelop and maintain SOP’s and other Work Instructions. \nConfer daily with maintenance management and production personnel on production related mechanical problems.\nComplete documentation and carry our responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.\nRoute reports and records to designated plant personnel.\nFollow Lean Manufacturing Processes, team building, consistency in high quality, preventative maintenance, good workplace conditions, productive work, etc.\nIdentify and recommend process improvements.\nWork closely with CI to determine ideal rates, staffing, procedures, etc.\nPERSONNEL\nFollow good manufacturing practices and training, along with company pre-requisite programs, SOP’s, and SSOP’s\nEnsure that all team members are adequately and properly trained in safety, sanitation procedures, chemical handling, and GMP’s, etc.\nEnsure proper staffing is maintained, including interviewing and hiring new team members.\nImplement and monitor training for new hires & continuing training of current team members.\nEnsure supervisors maintain attendance records, counsel team members with poor attendance, & follow up with coaching/discipline as appropriate.\nAppraise work performance: conduct appropriate reviews for team members; give coaching/discipline as appropriate in a consistent and timely manner.\nReview, correct, and approve timekeeping tool to ensure team members are paid correctly each pay-period.\nProvide appropriate interpretation of company policies and safety policies for team members.\nProvide direct/indirect supervision to production Team Members.\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as necessary.\nLEADERSHIP\nBuild and support a culture at their location which values Personnel Safety and Food Safety.\nMust demonstrate the Jack Link’s Values: Be Real - Relationship Driven - Stewardship - Speed Matters - Self Discipline - Show Awesome character\nBuild and support a culture of openness and accountability within (and outside) the assigned department.\nDemonstrate professionalism; must work effectively with all levels of management and employees\nDemonstrated effective leadership, problem solving, planning, presentation, and employee motivational skills.\nGood computer skills including;
