In this role, the Client Consultant Trainee develops the knowledge, skills, and credentials necessary to transition into a Client Consultant position upon attainment of required licenses and demonstration of performance standards.\nEssential Responsibilities\nParticipates in training sessions to learn about Jackson’s products and systems and the financial services industry.\nStudies for and obtains required licenses (FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 63, and State Insurance License) within the designated timeframe.\nCompletes New Hire Product Training and Supplemental Training.\nObserves and shadows Client Consultants to gain exposure to client interactions, product recommendations, and best-interest practices.\nProvides data entry support for the Client Consultant team.\nOther Duties\nPerforms other duties and/or projects as assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated initiative, curiosity, and desire to learn about financial products and client service.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nAbility to work as a self-starter within the framework of a team environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProfessional demeanor and commitment to providing exceptional client service.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.\n Some prior financial services industry experience or a degree in personal financial planning (or a similar field) preferred.\n FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 63, State Insurance License within 90 Days required.\n Individuals without required registrations will be limited in job function until all registrations are obtained.\nJackson is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
