This role oversees supplier relationships, material availability, commercial negotiations, cost management, delivery performance, and supply risk.The Buyer works closely with suppliers, contract manufacturers, Planning, Operations, and Engineering to ensure materials are available in line with production requirements, while maintaining the right balance of cost, quality, delivery, and risk.ResponsibilitiesManage purchasing activities for assigned materials, components, and suppliers.\nAct as a key point of coordination between suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal stakeholders.\nEnsure materials are ordered and delivered in line with production and inventory requirements.\nLead supplier negotiations covering pricing, lead times, delivery terms, and other commercial conditions.\nDrive cost reduction initiatives while balancing cost, quality, delivery, and supply risk.\nLead supplier and part qualification activities to support supply chain resiliency, scalability, and compliance.\nMonitor supplier and subcontractor performance against agreed commercial and contractual requirements.\nIdentify supplier and material risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.\nSupport price and cost analysis of supplier and subcontractor proposals.\nWork with Planning and Operations to resolve material shortages and supplier-related production constraints.\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by ensuring supplier and purchasing readiness.\nCoordinate with Engineering on technical requirements, specifications, drawings, and supplier-related issues.\nLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring supplier, material, cost, and delivery issues.\nMaintain accurate purchasing, supplier, lead-time, and material data within ERP/MRP systems.\nDrive continuous improvement in supplier performance, purchasing processes, lead times, cost, and data accuracy.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.\nExperience in production planning, material planning, supply planning, or manufacturing operations (background in electronics or optical component manufacturing highly preferred).\nWorking knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and purchasing best practices.\nStrong supplier management and negotiation skills.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills, including price and cost analysis.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience is an advantage.\nAbility to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and related documents.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nStrong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.\nFluent in Thai and English (written and spoken);
