# Buyer

Our client, a well-established global leader in high-performance photonics components, is seeking a Buyer to manage the purchasing of materials and components required to support manufacturing operations. This role oversees supplier relationships, material availability, commercial negotiations, cost management, delivery performance, and supply risk.The Buyer works closely with suppliers, contract manufacturers, Planning, Operations, and Engineering to ensure materials are available in line with production requirements, while maintaining the right balance of cost, quality, delivery, and risk.ResponsibilitiesManage purchasing activities for assigned materials, components, and suppliers. Act as a key point of coordination between suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal stakeholders. Ensure materials are ordered and delivered in line with production and inventory requirements.
