# Cost Controller

Our client, a leading global vegetable seed company, is looking for a Cost Controller to join their Finance and Accounting team in Thailand. In this role, you will act as a key finance business partner to Operations and Procurement, taking ownership of the end-to-end costing process while providing critical analysis and control across manufacturing costs, inventory rates, budgeting, CAPEX, and fixed assets.Key Responsibilities Set, maintain, and periodically review standard unit costs for each product. Review work orders and compare projected costs against actual production costs to identify variances. Analyze cost variances related to materials, production efficiency, labor, and overhead, and investigate root causes. Prepare monthly variance analysis, findings, and recommendations for management. Validate Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy and coordinate changes with Operations to ensure cost structures remain current. Support the preparation, tracking, and management of operational budgets for cost centers. Prepare cost projections and forecasts to support business planning. Monitor actual spending against budget and flag material deviations. Own CAPEX tracking from request and app
