# Production Planner

Our client, a well-established global leader in high-performance photonics components, is seeking a Production Planner to translate sales demand into practical, stable production schedules for assigned product lines. In this role, you will balance demand, capacity, inventory levels, material availability, and manufacturing constraints to optimize workflow.Working closely with internal teams—including Operations, Purchasing, and Engineering—as well as external suppliers and contract manufacturers, you will ensure operational targets are achievable while proactively resolving potential planning, scheduling, capacity, and material bottlenecks.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage master production plans and daily/weekly schedules based on forecast demand, plant capacity, lead times, and inventory levels. Collaborate with contract manufacturers (CMs), Operations, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure frictionless plan execution. Identify operational constraints and implement load-leveling and capacity-balancing strategies to minimize delays. Evaluate demand changes and adjust production schedules while protecting schedule stability and delivery commitments. Lead root cause investigations
