This role leads maintenance activities, drives preventive and predictive maintenance programs, minimizes equipment downtime, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and environmental standards.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Equipment Reliability & Maintenance\nLead the maintenance and troubleshooting of Mix, Fill & Pack and R&G Mix & Pack production lines, including:Mixing systems\nPowder conveying systems\nFilling machines\nPackaging machines\nCase packers and palletizers\nConveyors and material handling equipment\nUtilities interfaces supporting the production area\n\nDevelop and deployment of the preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) programs.\nMonitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.\nAnalyse recurring equipment failures with Breakdown Analysis and lead root cause analysis (RCA) activities.\nReduce breakdown frequency and production downtime through effective maintenance planning.\n2. Team Leadership\nOwn and lead breakdown elimination systems, maintenance planning and scheduling systems.\nLead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and contractors.\nPlan and allocate maintenance resources to support operational requirements.\nEnsure maintenance personnel are trained and competent in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.\nDevelop technical standards used to close the competency gaps.\n3. Production Support\nProvide timely technical support to production teams.\nParticipate in production meetings and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruptions.\nSupport changeovers, startups, commissioning, and shutdown activities.\nEnsure rapid response to breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs.\n4. Continuous Improvement\nDrive reliability improvement projects and equipment upgrades.\nImplements Manufacturing Operation Systems - roll out plan with hand on approach using the relevant tools.\nSupport implementation of Autonomous Maintenance in line with AM Plan within shift through adherence to Cleaning Inspecting and Lubricating (CIL), Defect Handling , Centerline (CL) and perform AM Audit and closing actions identified on time in full.\nUtilize Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies.\nIdentify opportunities to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).\nSupport automation and digitalization initiatives where applicable.\n5. Safety, Quality & Food Safety Compliance\nMaintain compliance with:GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)\nHACCP requirements\nFood Safety Management Systems (FSSC 22000/ISO 22000)\nOccupational Safety and Health regulations\n\nEnsure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are followed.\nLead safety inspections and risk assessments for maintenance activities.\nSupport internal and external audits.\n6. Spare Parts & Budget Management\nManage maintenance spare parts inventory and critical equipment components.\nCoordinate procurement of maintenance parts materials and services.\nOwn, manages and optimizes maintenance costs and ensure activities remain within budget.\nOptimizes the cost for spare parts balancing availability with “Just In Time” replenishment systems.\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities without compromising reliability.\n7.
