This is a sales and coaching role where you’ll lead by example-running in-home appointments while developing and coaching sales representatives through a structured ride-along training model. This position is ideal for a top-performing closer with leadership instincts who is ready to take the next step in their career by directly influencing team performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.\n*****EARNING POTENTIAL- $160,000-$190,000 ANNUALLY*****\nKey Responsibilities of Assistant Sales Manager:\n Run Sales Appointments: Conduct in-home design consultations with residential customers seeking bath and shower remodels. Present tailored solutions that meet both design preferences and functional needs\n Sales Training & Ride-Alongs: Train and mentor new and developing reps using a two-step model: first, they shadow you; then you shadow and coach them\n Sales Coaching & Development: Deliver real-time feedback and coaching to improve reps’ presentations, objection handling, and closing skills\n Lead by Example: Maintain a high personal close rate, model exceptional sales behavior, and help foster a high-performance sales culture\n Performance Reporting: Track rep progress, appointment results, and training needs; report directly to the Sr. Sales Manager\n Customer Service: Build trust and rapport throughout the consultation process. Follow up on project questions and ensure a smooth customer experience\n Project Assessment: Accurately measure bathrooms and assess project needs (tubs, showers, conversions, etc.)\n Pre-Scheduled Appointments: Attend confirmed appointments-no cold calling or prospecting required \nAdditional duties as assigned\nTraining for Assistant Sales Manager:\n2-weeks of interactive virtual training; must take and pass written and practical assessments\nRequired to report to our local office once a week for mandatory trainings\nCompensation for Assistant Sales Manager:\n $70,000 base, plus up to 10% commission on personal sales, potential monthly sales bonus, and $350.00 monthly car allowance\nSchedule of Assistant Sales Manager:\nFull time: Monday- Friday, every other Saturday\nAppointments are scheduled between 9:00 AM- 6:00 PM\nNever responsible for working on Sunday\nQualifications:\nProven success in in-home sales, ideally in home improvement or remodeling\nStrong one-call close ability and confidence in high-ticket consultative sales\nExperience training or mentoring sales reps is strongly preferred\nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills\nHighly organized, coachable, and performance-driven\nComfortable using technology, specifically an iPad\nWillingness to drive within assigned territory (100-mile radius)\nMust be available to work evenings and weekends as needed\nValid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required\nThe statements in this job description are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
