This role plays a key part in month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and ensuring employees follow company travel and expense policies.\nKey Responsibilities\nGeneral Accounting\n· Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP).\n· Maintain, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.\n· Assist with month-end and year-end close, ensuring deadlines are met.\n· Support preparation of financial statements, internal reports, and audit schedules.\nBanking & Cash Management\n· Perform weekly and monthly bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.\n· Monitor cash activity and assist with cash flow reporting.\nExpense Management & Compliance\n· Monitor compliance with company travel and expense policies.\n· Review employee expense reports for accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to policy.\n· Track corporate credit card transactions and ensure timely submission of expense reports.\n· Follow up with employees on overdue or incomplete expense reports to ensure compliance.\n· Coordinate with HR and department managers regarding outstanding compliance issues when needed.\nCompliance & Internal Controls\n· Assist with internal and external audit requests by preparing supporting documentation.\n· Help improve internal processes and strengthen financial controls.\n· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and U.S. GAAP.\nReporting & Analysis\n· Prepare recurring and ad-hoc schedules for management, budgeting, and forecasting.\n· Assist with variance analysis and provide explanations for unusual or unexpected activity.\nOther\n· Perform other tasks or special projects as assigned by management.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.\n2-4 years of accounting experience;
