This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining and extending existing platforms while also building new applications and services from the ground up.\n\nYou’ll work across PHP/Laravel, Vue, Python, and FastAPI to enhance the client’s core platform, improve and expand APIs, and develop standardized, reusable satellite applications.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\nMaintain, enhance, and extend the existing PHP/Laravel platform\n\nDevelop and improve frontend functionality using Vue\n\nDesign, build, and integrate APIs across internal and external systems\n\nImprove the structure, documentation, reliability, and usability of existing APIs\n\nBuild Python-based applications and services using FastAPI\n\nDevelop standardized and reusable satellite applications for customers\n\nTroubleshoot existing applications and implement performance and reliability improvements\n\nCollaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions\n\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and ongoing application improvements\n\nSome Must-Haves:\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience\n\nStrong experience with PHP and Laravel\n\nHands-on experience with Vue\n\nProfessional experience with Python\n\nExperience building APIs and integrations\n\nExperience with FastAPI or a similar Python web framework\n\nAbility to work across both frontend and backend systems\n\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills\n\nComfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing quickly to existing codebases\n\nWhere We're Looking For It:Latin AmericaOpen to 100% Fully RemoteOther InformationThe work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.
