Making sure front office have rolled or traded out before expiry/first notice\nWork closely with multiple internal teams utilizing your product knowledge to help test & build out processes for new product approvals within Commodities.\nInvestigate and resolve trade, settlement, and cash breaks with internal teams and external counterparties\nSupport the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, allocation, settlement, and exception management\nPartner closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Finance, Operations, Prime Brokers, custodians, and fund administrators\nAssist with portfolio and NAV reconciliations and support daily operational controls\nIdentify process improvement opportunities and help automate manual operational workflows\nSupport new account onboarding, product launches, and operational projects across the trading platform\nEnsure operational risks are identified, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner\nWorking closely with multiple teams to efficiently work through new product requests, understanding where operational risks may lie and building processes to mitigate the risks.\n\nRequired Experience\n10-15 years of experience in trading operations, middle office, or investment operations within an asset manager, hedge fund, or physical trading companies\nStrong trade reconciliation and break resolution experience\nExperience supporting multiple commodity products. SME in US Gas & Power is preferred (Exchange Listed or Physical)\nSolid understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and operational controls\nExperience working with Prime Brokers, custodians, fund administrators, or outsourced middle office providers\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail\nAdvanced Excel skills\nExperience with ION Triplepoint is advantageous but not essential\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative trading environment\nIdeal Candidate\nProactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized\nStrong communicator with the ability to work across Trading, Finance, and Operations\nComfortable taking ownership of issues through to resolution\nProcess-driven with a continuous improvement mindset\nThrives in a dynamic, high-performance investment environment\nCompensation\nJain Global offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
