This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the firm's data and research portfolio, with primary ownership of inventory management and invoice processing across a global vendor base.\nWorking closely with Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will ensure data and research assets are accurately maintained, vendor invoices are processed efficiently, and operational data supports effective financial controls and decision-making.\nThis position is ideal for an organized, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced investment management environment and has hands-on experience with Optimize Spend (FITS).\nResponsibilities\nMaintain the firm's data and research inventory, ensuring the accuracy of subscriptions, users, services, and entitlements within Optimize Spend (FITS).\n\nProcess market data adds, changes, transfers, and terminations while maintaining complete audit trails.\n\nReview, validate, reconcile, allocate, and coordinate payment of vendor invoices, resolving discrepancies with vendors, Finance, and internal stakeholders.\n\nSupport monthly accruals, spend reporting, and budget tracking activities.\n\nReconcile vendor entitlement reports against internal records and identify opportunities for optimization.\n\nProduce operational reporting, forecasting and metrics related to inventory, spending, and vendor activity.\n\nPartner with Vendor Management peers during contract renewals by validating inventory, usage, and billing information.\n\nMaintain documentation of data sources, workflows, and governance processes.\n\nManage and support exchange audits and compliance queries. Extra consideration for exchange contract management experience.\n\nIdentify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality, and enhance operational efficiency.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\n\n3-5 years of experience in market data administration, vendor management, or market data operations within a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank, or other financial services firm.\n\nHands-on experience with Optimize Spend (FITS) from The Roberts Group.\n\nExperience managing market data inventories and processing vendor invoices.\n\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis.\n\nExcellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.\n\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nPreferred Experience\nWorking knowledge of data and research vendors, including Bloomberg, LSEG, FactSet, ICE, S&P Global, Morningstar, among others.\n\nExperience supporting market data governance, licensing, or entitlement management.\n\nWorking knowledge of reporting and visualization tools.\n\nCross-functional experience with Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nA proactive, ownership-oriented approach to operational excellence.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.\n\nThe ability to build effective relationships across business and support functions.\n\nA continuous improvement mindset focused on automation, efficiency, and scalability.\n\nJain Global offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, high-performing environment supporting a global investment platform. The estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
