If you have a passion for audio and enjoy working with like-minded, friendly and collaborative individuals then please let us know! \nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about professional audio technology and enjoys working in a collaborative, innovative, and team-oriented environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n Develop bare metal or RTOS firmware for complex embedded systems that require high reliability\nDevelop backend and middleware firmware for embedded Linux platforms\nAssist with peripheral interface electronics design (and other circuits if desired) \nMaintain coding standards with intuitive function/object names, clear comments, and flow diagrams\nDefine test plans and help develop test automation projects to effectively validate code releases\nWork with other engineers to understand system integration requirements\nWork with technical support staff to investigate and correct reported bugs or deficiencies \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMust be proficient with C++ and/or C • Must be proficient with Java Script and/or Python • Strong experience with complex embedded system design focusing on high reliability • Experience with embedded Linux firmware development is highly desired • Experience with Node.JS, SQLite, and ZeroMQ are very beneficial • Experience with one or more of the following: o Graphical User Interface development o Network-related programming (such as client/server applications, asynchronous processing). o Designing and implementing communications APIs for SPI, I2C, or UART. • Experience using Git/Bitbucket • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience designing firmware and hardware for complex embedded systems.\nFamiliarity with audio networking, professional audio systems, and related technologies.\nHands-on experience with hardware-level troubleshooting and embedded product development.\nAbout Ashly Audio\nAshly Audio, a division of JAM Industries, has been designing and manufacturing professional audio equipment since 1974.
