This role provides L2/L3 escalation within the Infrastructure and Security team and works under the guidance of the Lead SysAdmin/Architect to ensure stable, secure, and reliable infrastructure operations across North America. The ideal candidate brings strong systems administration experience with solid Azure skills and good networking fundamentals.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.\nPerform daily operational tasks in Azure/Entra, including VM management, VNet/NSG configuration, storage, monitoring, and backups.\nSupport and troubleshoot issues involving Azure hybrid identity (Entra Connect).\nProvide L2/L3 escalation for systems-related incidents and service requests.\nMonitor system health, performance, and capacity; apply patches and updates.\nPerform backup/restore operations and ensure recovery readiness.\nConduct log analysis and root-cause troubleshooting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and OS-level logs.\nCollaborate with other SysAdmins, network, security, web/application, and SQL teams.\nSupport infrastructure-related components of business applications and peripheral systems (e.g., integrations, printers, and warehouse/RF devices).\nFollow standards and direction set by the Lead SysAdmin/Architect.\nDocument system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n3–6 years of hands-on experience in a Systems Administrator role, including at least 3 years working with Microsoft Azure in an operational capacity\nStrong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration (users, groups, OUs, GPO basics, DNS/DHCP).\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnets, routing basics, firewall concepts, DNS).\nOperational experience with Microsoft Azure, including:\nVirtual Machines\nVNets, NSGs, routing basics\nAzure Backup\nAzure Monitor and basic Log Analytics\nHybrid identity components (Entra Connect)\nMicrosoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).\nExperience supporting enterprise or mid-sized environments (1000–5000 users preferred).\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical abilities, especially log-driven debugging.\nBasic PowerShell scripting for administration tasks.\nAbility to handle L2/L3 support independently while collaborating with senior team members.\n\nNice-to-Have Qualifications\nExperience with Linux or Unix appliances (bonus only).\nFamiliarity with Cloudflare concepts (DNS, WAF).\nBasic understanding of SQL connectivity troubleshooting.\nExperience working
