This role processes payroll and standard tax filings under established procedures, supports international payroll vendors on day-to-day matters, and escalates complex or novel tax and compliance issues to senior payroll staff.\nWhat you can expect to do in this role:\nProcess semimonthly U.S. payroll - wages, deductions, benefits, and garnishments - across multiple states in Workday, following established payroll procedures.\nSupport U.S. payroll tax compliance by preparing standard federal, state, and local tax filings (Forms 941, 940, W-2, and W-3) for review, and assist with reconciling tax liabilities against the general ledger.\nResearch routine payroll tax notices and agency correspondence, escalating complex or novel issues to senior payroll or tax staff.\nSupport year-end processing, including W-2 preparation and reconciliation.\nSupport payroll processing for Jamf employees outside the U.S. by coordinating with in-country payroll providers on day-to-day pay accuracy and timeliness.\nServe as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned international payroll vendors, flagging discrepancies for review before disbursement.\nProcess and audit garnishments, levies, and voluntary deductions in compliance with applicable law.\nCoordinate with HR, Legal, and Finance on standard multi-state and multi-country payroll matters, escalating complex tax or compliance questions as needed.\nUse AI-powered tools alongside other payroll technologies to support validation and reconciliation tasks, flagging anomalies for review.\nOther duties and special projects as assigned.\nWhat we are looking for: \n2+ years of U.S. payroll processing experience (required)\nWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax rules - FICA, FUTA, SUTA, and withholding (required)\nExperience with a major payroll platform, such as Workday, ADP Workforce Now, ADP Streamline/Celergo, or UKG (required)\nExposure to international payroll processes, ideally partnering with in-country payroll providers or Employers of Record (EORs) (preferred)\nExperience partnering with One Source Virtual (OSV) or similar payroll service providers to support U.S. payroll processing (preferred)\nProficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for reconciliations and reporting (required)\nComfort using AI-powered tools to support payroll validation and reconciliation tasks (preferred)\nEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree (preferred)\nA combination of relevant experience and education may be considered (required)\nCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification, or an international payroll equivalent (preferred)\nSECURITY AND PRIVACY REQUIREMENTS\nParticipation in ongoing security training is mandatory.\nEstablished security protocols will be adhered to, sensitive data will be handled responsibly, and data protection practices are followed, including understanding relevant privacy regulations and reporting breaches\nAcknowledging the Jamf Code of Conduct, where applicable security and privacy policies can be found, is a requirement of all roles at Jamf.\nHow we help you reach your best potential:\nNamed a 2025 Best Companies to Work For by U.S. News\nNamed a 2025 Newsweek America’s Greatest Workplaces for Mental Well-being\nNamed a 2025 Newsweek America’s Greatest Workplaces for Gen Z\nNamed one of Forbes Most Trusted Companies in 2024\nNamed a 2024 Best Companies to Work For by U.S. News\nNamed a 2024 Newsweek America’s Greatest Workplaces for Parents & Families\nNamed a 2024 PEOPLE Companies That Care by PEOPLE® and Great Place To Work®\nNamed a 2024 Best Technology Company to Work For by U.S. News\nWe know that big ideas can come from anyone, so we empower everyone to make an impact.
