We're also directly involved in shaping how Jane builds and improves its U.S. billing tools and services.\nAs Jane continues to grow in the U.S., so does our need for experienced billers, people who know their way around claims and denials, but also love solving problems, building relationships, and contributing to a growing team.\nWhat Impact We’re Looking for You to Make\nIn this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality billing support to our U.S. customers while helping shape how our billing service grows and operates. Success in this role looks like:\nSubmitting clean claims efficiently and accurately for your assigned clinics\n\nFollowing up on denials and rejections with urgency and clarity\n\nPosting payments, reconciling accounts, and communicating proactively with clinics\n\nHelping build internal billing documentation and resources to support knowledge sharing\n\nIdentifying trends, payer issues, and process gaps and collaborating on improvements\n\nYou’ll be working closely with our U.S. Insurance Lead, Billing Experts, and the broader Support team, all while helping us set the bar for what great billing service at Jane looks like.\nThe Experience We Need\nWe're looking for someone who’s confident navigating insurance billing and brings a collaborative, detail-focused approach to their work. Specifically:\n3-5+ years of U.S. medical billing experience (including full-cycle billing)\n\nExperience working with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and workers’ comp\n\nFamiliarity with billing systems like Office Ally, Availity, Kareo, Epic, or similar tools\n\nStrong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and how to interpret EOBs/ERAs\n\nConfident communicator, clear, professional, and able to build rapport with clinic staff\n\nMore About Jane\nJane is a founder-led, high-growth SaaS company born in North Vancouver, British Columbia. This is reflected by a strong starting annual salary of $55,000 USD for the US Medical Billing role at Jane.
