In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high profile projects at the cutting edge of the software industry.\n\nLocation: Fully Remote/ European Residence required\n\nCompensation: Salary\n\nWork Schedule: Full time/ Flexible working hours\n\nReports to Head of Engineering\n\nMember of Engineering Team\n\nTo be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications: \r\n\n10+ years development experience with backend technologies, including experience with modern backend architecture (i.e. microservices, etc.)\n\nSignificant development experience with C# and .NET.\n\nExperience building and deploying solutions on cloud services (Azure preferred)\n\nExperience designing, building, and deploying scalable, distributed applications using independent services, focusing on APIs, containers, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and CI/CD.\n\nHands-on experience contributing to AI/ML-enabled products, such as integrating ML models or AI services into production backend systems (e.g., APIs, pipelines, inference services).\n\nExperience collaborating with ML/AI specialists to translate models into scalable, reliable backend solutions (deployment, monitoring, performance, data flow).\n\nTeam Leadership and management experience\n\nFast learner with a can-do attitude and exceptional problem-solving abilities\n\nSelf-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working collaboratively on remote projects\n\nEnglish skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English)\n\nA degree in computer science (or equivalent)\n\nIdeal candidates will also have: \r\n\nExperience in a client-facing role managing and delivering software engineering projects\n\nExperience architecting solutions on modern backend platforms\n\nExperience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)\n\nStrong understanding of DevOps concepts/process and CI/CD tools\n\nUnderstanding of React.js and its core principles.\n\nWhy join Janea?
