As a Lead ML Engineer, you will guide ML architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact AI solutions across multiple industries.\nLocation\nFully Remote/ European Residence required\nCompensation\nSalary\nWork Schedule\nFull time/ Flexible working hours\nReports to\nHead of Engineering\nMember of\nEngineering Team\nTo be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:\n8+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or applied AI.\n\n3+ years of experience in technical leadership or mentoring engineering teams.\n\nStrong experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.\n\nHands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.\n\nExperience designing scalable ML systems and data pipelines.\n\nStrong programming skills in Python and experience with backend or distributed systems.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\n\nExperience with containerization and deployment technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).\n\nStrong understanding of MLOps practices and model lifecycle management.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote environments.\n\nStrong written and spoken English communication skills.\n\nDegree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.\n\nIdeal candidates will also have:\nExperience working with LLMs, generative AI systems, or deep learning architectures.\n\nExperience building ML platforms or internal AI tooling.\n\nFamiliarity with distributed training and large-scale data processing frameworks.\n\nExperience with feature stores, model monitoring, and ML observability tools.\n\nExperience delivering ML solutions in client-facing consulting environments.\n\nWhy join Janea?
