The role will translate business priorities into scalable data solutions that deliver measurable value.\n\nWhat You Are Good At\nBusiness Partnership & Data Strategy: Building trusted relationships with executives and translating strategic priorities and complex business challenges into scalable data and analytics solutions.\nAnalytics, Reporting & Business Intelligence: Leading enterprise reporting, analytics, semantic models, and decision-support capabilities that enable better decisions and measurable business outcomes.\nBusiness Value & Prioritization: Aligning data investments with enterprise priorities and driving adoption through intuitive, product-oriented solutions focused on usability and measurable value.\nLeadership & Influence: Building high-performing teams and influencing across Business and Technology while fostering collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nBusiness Partnership & Data Capability Strategy\nDefine and execute the enterprise strategy for data capabilities, analytics, business intelligence, and business enablement.\nPartner with executive and business leaders to understand strategic priorities, operational challenges, and growth opportunities.\nEstablish demand management, prioritization, and roadmap planning processes that align investments with business objectives.\nTranslate business requirements into scalable data capabilities and maintain enterprise roadmaps, priorities, and success measures.\nServe as the primary business relationship leader for the Enterprise Data organization.\n\nData Solutions for Analytics & Reporting\nLead enterprise reporting, dashboards, analytics, and decision-support capabilities that improve business decision-making and performance.\nEstablish standards and best practices for business intelligence, analytics, semantic models, and data capability management.\nModernize reporting, reduce duplication, and improve consistency across analytical solutions.\nEnsure data capabilities are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.\n\nData Analysis & Solution Enablement\nLead Data & BI Capability Owners, Data Analysts, Data Solution Architecture, and Information Architecture to ensure consistent requirements, analysis, and solution design.\nEstablish standards for data requirements, modeling, and business rule documentation.\nEnsure requirements are well-defined and aligned with business objectives prior to engineering execution.\nPartner with Data Engineering & Operations to successfully transition requirements through solution delivery.\nPromote reusable data assets, semantic models, and standardized business definitions.\n\nAdoption & Business Value\nEstablish product-oriented delivery practices focused on adoption, usability, and measurable outcomes.\nDevelop metrics to measure adoption, value realization, customer satisfaction, and operational impact.\nGather stakeholder feedback and continuously improve enterprise data capabilities.\nChampion data literacy and effective use of enterprise analytics.\nEnsure solutions improve decision-making, advisor productivity, operational efficiency, client outcomes, and business performance.\n\nLeadership & Team Development\nBuild and develop a high-performing, business-focused data solutions and analytics team.\nFoster a culture of accountability, innovation, customer service, and continuous improvement.\nAllocate resources toward the firm’s highest-priority business and data initiatives.\nPartner across Data, Technology, Digital Product Management, and Business organizations to deliver integrated solutions.\nAttract, develop, and retain talent capable of modernizing and scaling enterprise data capabilities.\n\nWhat You Have\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Data Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.\n10+ years of experience leading enterprise analytics, business intelligence, data products, or data solutions within financial services or similarly regulated industries.\nDemonstrated experience delivering reporting, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities that drive measurable outcomes.\nExperience leading data capability or product management, data analysis, requirements management, and stakeholder engagement.\nStrong understanding of business intelligence platforms, semantic models, data modeling, and enterprise reporting architectures.\nProven ability to partner with senior Business and Technology stakeholders and lead high-performing teams.\nExperience leading organizational change, business adoption, and analytics modernization initiatives.\n\nWhy work for us?\nBenefits: Janney believes that its employees are the key to what makes a great company.
