The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop progressively broader responsibilities within the CIO organization.\nWhat you are good at:\nCommunication: Make complex topics easy to understand.\nHighly organized: Able to bring structure to multiple moving priorities.\nBeing Proactive: Identify what needs to happen next rather than waiting for detailed direction.\nCuriosity: Interest in learning about technology and business and interested in understanding how technology enables the firm's strategy.\nRelationship building: Build productive relationships across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership. \nAdaptable: Comfortable working in an environment undergoing significant transformation.\nResponsibilities\nTechnology Change Management & Adoption\nSupport the development and execution of change management plans for technology initiatives impacting employees, financial advisors, and other end users.\nPartner with project, product, technology, business, training, and communications teams to identify upcoming changes and coordinate how they are introduced to the organization.\nHelp establish a consistent Technology Change Management framework, including standards, templates, processes, calendars, and communication channels.\nMaintain visibility into upcoming technology releases and changes to identify potential end-user impacts and communication requirements.\nAssist with stakeholder identification, impact assessments, readiness activities, training coordination, and adoption planning.\nGather end-user feedback following significant changes and help identify opportunities to improve future rollouts.\nSupport measurement of change effectiveness, communications reach, adoption, and end-user experience.\nTechnology Communications\nCoordinate communications associated with technology initiatives, platform changes, releases, outages, upgrades, new capabilities, and major transformation programs.\nDraft clear, concise communications that translate technical changes into language meaningful to business users.\nWork with Technology leaders and appropriate corporate stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate, timely, consistent, and appropriately targeted.\nDevelop and maintain communication templates and standards for different types of technology changes.\nCoordinate technology communication calendars to reduce overlapping or conflicting messages to end users.\nAssist with CIO and Technology leadership communications, including organizational updates, presentations, talking points, town halls, and executive messages.\nHelp tell the story of Technology's progress, business value, modernization efforts, and accomplishments across the organization.\nCIO & Technology Leadership Support\nProvide lightweight coordination and administrative support to the CIO and Technology leadership team.\nAssist with preparation and coordination of leadership meetings, town halls, planning sessions, and other key forums.\nDevelop agendas, presentations, briefing materials, meeting notes, action items, and follow-up communications.\nTrack selected CIO priorities, commitments, decisions, and follow-up items to help ensure appropriate execution.\nHelp coordinate information and materials required for executive and senior leadership discussions.\nSupport special projects and strategic initiatives sponsored by the CIO.\nWork across Technology teams to gather information, coordinate activities, and help move priorities forward.\nPortfolio & Value Management Support\nSupport the Head of Portfolio & Value Management in establishing consistent change and communication practices across the Technology portfolio.\nCoordinate with portfolio, product, project, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and business teams to understand upcoming initiatives and their organizational impact.\nHelp integrate change management and communication activities into the broader technology planning and delivery lifecycle.\nAssist in maintaining calendars, dashboards, status information, and other materials that provide visibility into major Technology initiatives.\nSupport efforts to communicate the business outcomes and value delivered through Technology investments.\nWhat you have:\nRequired\nBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nApproximately 1–3 years of professional experience; strong recent graduates with relevant internships or leadership experience are encouraged to apply.\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.\nStrong interpersonal skills and comfort working with stakeholders at different levels of an organization.\nAbility to translate complex information into clear, concise, business-friendly communications.\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.\nIntellectual curiosity and a demonstrated interest in technology, business transformation, organizational change, or financial services.\nProfessional judgment and discretion when working with confidential or sensitive information.\nPreferred\nExperience or coursework related to communications, business, technology, organizational change, project management, marketing, or a related discipline.\nInternship or professional experience in financial services, consulting, technology, communications, or a corporate environment.\nFamiliarity with change management, project management, product management, or Agile concepts.\nExperience developing presentations or communications for senior leaders.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, and emerging AI productivity tools.\nWhy work for us?\nBenefits: Janney believes that its employees are the key to what makes a great company.
