Combining DevOps engineering, platform architecture and developer experience, you will focus on the Azure DevOps-to-GitHub transition, platform tooling and integration with Snowflake and Databricks. As a subject matter expert in DevOps tooling, automation and platform reliability, you will promote best practice, standardisation and self-service capabilities across engineering teams.\nLead DevOps transformation initiatives, including migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub, and implement standardised CI/CD pipelines, reusable workflows, and release automation frameworks.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, or similar tools to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.\nDeliver and optimise cloud-native platforms on Azure (primary), ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.\nAct as SME across DevOps tooling, including GitHub (Actions, Advanced Security), Nexus (artifact management), and Veracode (application security), embedding security controls into pipelines and platform services.\nEnable and support DevOps practices for core data platforms, including Snowflake and Databricks, covering environment provisioning, CI/CD integration, and access control models.\nImplement observability frameworks, including monitoring, logging, and alerting, and contribute to SRE practices such as SLIs/SLOs, reliability engineering, and incident management.\nEmbed security and compliance standards into all platform components, ensuring auditability, policy enforcement, and alignment with enterprise governance requirements.\nRepresent Platform Engineering in External and internal audit engagements, clearly explaining controls, providing accurate evidence, responding to findings, and driving remediation actions to closure.\nDrive developer experience improvements through platform standardisation, self-service tooling, templates, and AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., Copilot, intelligent automation).\nCollaborate with AI Team, Architecture, Cloud COE, SRE, and engineering teams to deliver consistent and governed platform capabilities across the organisation.\nMentor junior engineers platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles\nStrong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)\nProficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)\nHands-on with CI/CD tools
