We provide accounting (clearing and settlement), contracting, reporting and project support services.\n\nAbout the job\n\nWe are seeking a Java Developer, reporting to the DevSecOps Team Leader, who will contribute to the design, implementation, deployment, and support of secure, resilient, and sustainable software solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery and operational excellence.\n\nKey activities in the position:\n\nWork primarily within the scope of the team to deliver secure, resilient and sustainable software solutions from design to implementation and deployment\n\nTranslate ideas into clear code, written to be read as well as executed, following the teams code guidelines, policies and procedures\n\nSupport existing solutions, responding with urgency to operational issues and serving as a second level support when needed\n\nImplement comprehensive monitoring solutions and maintain vigilant system oversight through automated alerting, metrics analysis, and predictive problem-solving to prevent service degradations\n\nActively engage in code reviews, reconciling different opinions and following best practices set up by others\n\nAlways use a sensible combination of manual, integration and unit tests to adhere to the teams quality standards\n\nMaintain detailed technical documentation for all implemented solutions, integrations, and security controls, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational continuity\n\nEnsure responsible decision making by assessing the impact and risk of solutions and follow with the appropriate communication to the stakeholders\n\nPerform any ad-hoc activities in relation to the Java Developer's role\n\nWe are looking for someone with the following skills set:\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or similar experience\n\nFluent in English with excellent written and spoken skills, any other language will be being an advantage\n\nAt least 3 years of experience as a Dev(Sec)Ops Engineer, software developer or in a similar position.\n\nProfessional experience with Java, Spring and Springboot frameworks\n\nExperience with version control systems (Git, Github, Bitbucket…)\n\nExperience with Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL…) and SQL\n\nExperience with Windows and terminal or command line interface based systems (Linux RHEL)\n\nExperience with networking and protocols (SSH, SSL/TLS, HTTPS, DNS, SFTP…)\n\nExperience with ITIL and DevSecOps principles and practices\n\nKnowledge of security frameworks and standards (OWASP, CIS…)\n\nExperience with CI/CD tools (Github actions, TeamCity, Bitbucket Pipelines…)\n\nExperience with modern frontend frameworks (React, NextJs…)\n\nExperience with observability platforms (Elastic, DataDog, NewRelic…)\n\nAnalytic reasoning and solution oriented mindset\n\nExcellent communication skills\n\nOpen mind with an interest in discovering root causes and solving problems\n\nAdditional Requirement\n\nAccording to the Luxembourg law of July 23rd 2016 (as amended), the successful applicant will be required to provide a Criminal Record before signing the employment contract. \n\nWe offer\n\nSalary paid on 13 months basis.\n\n31 days holidays per year.\n\nUp to 40% of home office for Luxemburgish residents, 25% maximum for non-residents.\n\n150 Euros per month towards transportation (Bus/Train) or full reimbursement of parking tickets outside the office.\n\n50 Euros per month towards sport.\n\n18 Luncheon vouchers per month.\n\nDKV complementary health insurance for you and your close family members (Optional).\n\nPension plan, including Life and Disability Benefits.\n\n1,000 Euros towards training per year.\n\nIn an industry that poses unique challenges and operates under stringent regulations, we are committed to creating an environment where our employees can build a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise, while growing and thriving in a positive, professional atmosphere.
