The Air Gateway Agent is responsible to ensure that these policies are adhered to at all times.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe Air Gateway agent will process and close MAWB for consolidations and back to back AWB’s.\nEnsure that file contains all necessary documents and copies are in proper sequence.\nTo do what it takes to meet and exceed Internal and External customers’ defined needs and expectations.\nBook space with carriers.\nEnsure all MAWBs are rated correctly.\nObtain spot codes on all special negotiated rates with carriers\nEnter spot rates and codes in C1.\nTrack AWB and provide COB information to the respective branches.\nResearch on all CCA, weight and rate discrepancies sent by carriers.\nFiling of files.\nPerform other duties as needed or requested.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe incumbent will not directly and/or indirectly supervise one or more employees.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
