Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.\nThe Logistics Supervisors support the management team in order to maximize the results of the branch through the optimization of operational execution and delivery of service for customers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nCoordinate the Operations and Service Level of the operations\nSupport the managers to manage the operations to budget\nResponsible for the timely administration of all reporting to the corporate office\nResponsible for the scheduling and supervision of the staff at the Branch\nAbility to tailor communication (both written and verbal) according to appropriate audience\nDemonstrate leadership through work ethic and commitment\nAll other duties as assigned by Manager\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProject Implementation Supervisor\nConduct performance evaluation for direct reports\nRecommend hiring, firing and promotion\nIdentify and resolve personnel issues\nOngoing coaching and mentoring of staff to develop skills to the highest level\nQUALIFICATIONS: \nDemonstrate ability to manage and lead people\nAbility to manage in a multitask role\nWorking understanding of a transactional or dedicated transportation model\nExcellent written and verbal communication\nStrong interpersonal and customer-service skills\nResourceful, well-organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail-oriented\nAbility to exercise initiative, good judgment, time management and problem-solving skills\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: \nDegree in supply chain and logistics\n3+ years’ experience in warehouse industry\n1+ years’ experience in leadership role\nWorking Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel\nFamiliar with logistics process\nThe salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 and the range will be determined by skills and experience.\nENVIRONMENT:\n100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
