The role assists in coordinating hard services, soft services, utilities, fire and life safety, and asset maintenance activities to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant with contractual requirements, approved procedures, and service-level expectations.\nThe position focuses on coordinating service providers, monitoring maintenance activities, conducting site inspections, tracking service performance, and supporting the efficient operation of workers’ accommodation facilities.\nCore Responsibilities\n1. Facilities Operations\nSupport daily facilities management operations across the Workers Villages.\nMonitor service delivery against agreed KPIs, SLAs, contractual requirements, and operating procedures.\nCoordinate daily activities with FM teams, contractors, and service providers.\nConduct routine site inspections to assess facility conditions, service quality, and compliance.\nReport operational issues and follow up on corrective actions.\nCoordinate with maintenance, accommodation, security, and other operational teams.\n2. Hard Services\nCoordinate routine maintenance activities covering mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, civil, ELV, and fire protection systems.\nMonitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and follow up on outstanding work orders.\nAssist in prioritising maintenance requests and resolving recurring technical issues.\nReview maintenance reports and follow up on corrective actions.\nEnsure maintenance activities comply with approved procedures and applicable standards.\n3. Soft Services\nMonitor the delivery of cleaning, landscaping, irrigation, pest control, waste management, and general environmental services.\nConduct inspections of accommodation buildings, common areas, external spaces, and service facilities.\nFollow up with contractors on service deficiencies and corrective actions.\nAssist in monitoring service quality and resident satisfaction.\nReport recurring service issues and recommend practical improvements.\n4. Utilities Coordination\nMonitor the operation and maintenance of potable water systems, irrigation networks, sewage treatment plants, electrical distribution, water storage tanks, pumping stations, and diesel storage facilities.\nCoordinate with technical teams and service providers to address utility-related issues.\nAssist in monitoring utility consumption, availability, and operational efficiency.\nReport utility incidents, service interruptions, and unusual consumption patterns.\nFollow up on the availability of essential supplies and consumables.\n5. Fire and Life Safety & HSE\nSupport the implementation of fire and life safety procedures and emergency response arrangements.\nMonitor compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and site safety requirements.\nParticipate in routine safety inspections and risk assessments.\nReport unsafe conditions and follow up on corrective actions arising from inspections, incidents, and non-conformances.\nCoordinate with HSE and emergency response teams to maintain safe operating conditions.\n6. Contractor and Vendor Coordination\nCoordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to support effective service delivery.\nMonitor contractor work progress and compliance with agreed service requirements.\nAssist in reviewing work schedules, method statements, maintenance plans, and work permits.\nVerify completed work and report deficiencies requiring further action.\nMaintain regular communication with service providers to resolve day-to-day operational issues.\n7. Asset Maintenance and CAFM\nAssist in maintaining accurate asset registers, maintenance records, and equipment histories.\nUse CAFM/CMMS or helpdesk systems to monitor work orders, service requests, and maintenance activities.\nTrack preventive maintenance completion and outstanding corrective maintenance.\nSupport asset inspections and identify equipment requiring repair or replacement.\nMaintain records to support maintenance planning and asset performance monitoring.\n8. Reporting and Performance Monitoring\nPrepare routine operational updates, inspection reports, and maintenance summaries.\nTrack KPIs, SLAs, preventive maintenance completion, outstanding work orders, and non-conformances.\nEscalate recurring issues, service deficiencies, and operational risks to the relevant manager.\nAssist with collecting operational data for budget preparation and cost discipline.\nProfessional Certifications\nFM-related qualifications such as CFM, FMP, or IWFM are preferred.\nRequirements\nExperience and Technical Skills\n7-10 years of relevant Facilities Management experience.\nAt least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory, team coordination, or senior operational role.\nExperience in workers’ accommodation, residential communities, labour camps, large facilities, or similar operational environments.\nPractical knowledge of hard services, soft services, utilities, and building maintenance.\nWorking knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.\nFamiliarity with utility systems such as water distribution, STP, irrigation, and power distribution.\nExperience coordinating contractors and monitoring service delivery against KPIs and SLAs.\nFamiliarity with CAFM/CMMS, FM helpdesk, or work-order management systems.\nBasic understanding of HSE requirements, fire and life safety procedures, and Permit to Work systems.\nGood inspection, reporting, record-keeping, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external service providers.\nAbility to work independently on routine operational matters and escalate complex issues appropriately.\nGCC Facilities Management experience, particularly in residential or workers’ accommodation environments, is
