The ideal candidate will have experience working in enterprise environments, building scalable applications, and collaborating with data modelers, analysts, and business stakeholders across multiple product teams.\nThe candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, hands-on experience with modern web technologies, database development, and a good understanding of cloud-based application environments.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n5+ years of professional software development experience in an enterprise environment.\nStrong knowledge of Python programming, object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, and backend development.\nHands-on experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, DateTime, and regular expressions for data manipulation and processing.\n2+ years of front-end development experience using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.\n1+ years of experience working with SQL Server, including writing SQL queries and developing Stored Procedures.\nExperience with version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and GitLab.\nFamiliarity with Jira for issue tracking and Confluence for technical documentation.\nExperience with testing frameworks such as UnitTest, Pytest, and Jest.\nStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization skills.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.\nPreferred / Nice-to-Have Skills\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.\nExposure to Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and AWS Glue.\nUnderstanding of ETL/ELT processes and enterprise data integration.\nExperience working with enterprise data repositories and data governance standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using React.js on the front end and Python on the backend.\nWrite clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code following established development standards.\nDevelop and optimize application components to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure smooth functionality.\nCollaborate with data modelers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices and team standards.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies and procedures.\nSupport data ownership documentation and establish integrations with enterprise data repositories.\nEnsure compliance with LSEG Data standards, policies, and procedures.\nAdapt to new technologies, tools, and frameworks based on evolving project requirements.\nContinuously enhance technical knowledge and stay current with industry trends and development practices.\nWork effectively within cross-functional teams while promoting inclusive collaboration and clear communication.\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nA strong full-stack developer with 5+ years of enterprise development experience, solid Python backend expertise, and at least 2 years of React front-end development experience.
