They use best practices to ship high-quality code and continue to push their knowledge.\nHe works in a team and is proficient in programming languages required by the organization. He is familiar with software development tools and standards.\nThe Senior Back End Engineer is innovative in developing a range of product designs and solutions. He supports others in the team and is confident in communicating ideas to the team in a clear and compelling manner.\nGeneral Duties and Responsibilities:\nParticipate in discussions with development teams and product managers to understand user requirements. \nParticipate in the complete software development process from conception to deployment. \nParticipate in the architecture and design process of software solutions. \nDevelop scalable, performant, and secure back-end applications and servers for creating highly functional web applications. \nDevelop efficient and secure Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). \nDevelop server-side engines and services. \nIntegrate external software libraries and APIs into existing projects. \nIntegrate multiple data sources and databases into one system. \nPerform integration testing as part of the integration process \nDeliver high quality, maintainable, and scalable code. \nExecute improvements and code re-factoring to back-end codebases. \nAssist in enhancing existing software components and adding new features. \nEnsuring the safety and security of the websites, applications, and software systems being developed. \nBenchmarking and enhancing the performance of the product. \nRecommend approaches that balance security, stability, and performance needs. \nSupports and mentors’ peers in an ad-hoc way.
