This role involves supervising a team of Picker Packer and other individuals, monitoring workflows, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The Fulfillment Supervisor plays a key role in achieving picking goals, optimizing processes, and implementing improvements.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.\nSupervise daily fulfillment and project operations and ensure that goals are achieved on time. \nEnsure schedules are followed and adjust resources to meet changes in demand or unforeseen delays. \nMonitor product quality throughout the picking process to ensure products meet company standards and customer expectations. \nAnalyze fulfillment processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. \nImplement best practices and process enhancements to optimize resource utilization. \nCollaborate with other departments (e.g., Maintenance, Client Services, Inventory, Warehouse Management) to resolve issues. \nEnsure the fulfillment team adheres to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. \nConduct regular safety inspections and ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free from hazards. \nMonitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery. \nReport safety incidents or near misses to management and take corrective action as needed. \nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on output, quality, and efficiency metrics. \nMaintain accurate records of fulfillment activities, including labor hours, counts, and any equipment or process issues. \nAnalyze fulfillment/order data to track trends and recommend corrective actions when necessary. \nLead, mentor, and motivate a team of workers, ensuring clear communication and adherence to company policies. \nConduct regular team meetings to address any challenges, communicate expectations, and provide updates on performance. \nProvide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and improve productivity. \nManage shift scheduling, including work hours and overtime, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times. \nEmpower employees to embrace Jay Group core values (Make it Possible, Drive to Innovate, We Win Together, Built on Trust) \n19. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nHigh School Diploma required. \nAssociate degree or higher preferred. \nFive (5) or more years of experience leading a team or group of people in a Warehouse environment required. \n Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. \n Knowledge of production management software (e.g., ERP systems, scheduling tools). \n Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. \n Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency. \nStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. \nProficiency in using material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems a plus. \n Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach truck, order pickers and other material handling equipment. \nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write moderately complex correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to communicate in stressful situations including at times delivering negative feedback. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple variables in standardized and also unique situations.\nCOMPUTER SKILLS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient knowledge of Internet software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software and warehouse Management systems.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
