For more details about the position see below.\nSchedule: Thursday- Sunday 6:00am-4:30pm (OT will be required based on business need)\nWknd Plus Shift Team Lead Job Responsibilities\nAssigns tasks to team members to optimize productivity\nMonitors the productivity of your team members, sharing numbers daily and coaching underperformers\nAuditing the quality of work performed by your team members and giving feedback as necessary\nAssists Supervisor with documentation, job set ups and paperwork\nMaintaining high standards for professional conduct\nOnboarding and Training new hires\nGiving feedback as necessary for productivity, attendance, or workplace conduct\nListening to feedback and resolve issues from your team, escalating as necessary\nPromoting a safe and motivating workplace and atmosphere\nCompleting required tasks in a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Tasks would include printing orders, researching orders, following end of day processing for manifesting and invoicing.\nQualifications\nQualifications:\nAbility to handle multiple tasks while under pressure and work in a team environment.\nMust be able to provide leadership to team members on various projects.\nStrong communication skills, writing and verbal\nSelf-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision.\nPrevious warehouse/distribution experience preferred.\nMust be able to lift and carry/move up to 50 lbs.\nPrevious experience using WMS (Warehouse Management System) preferred, but not required.\nMust be available to work overtime as required.\nBilingual for Spanish is preferred.\nAbout Jay Group:\nJay Group is an industry-leading provider of warehouse inventory management, ecommerce fulfillment, transportation, and specialty packaging services.
