You will partner with delivery teams and Department Managers, providing clear contractual advice and ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed plans.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOversee and maintain contract documentation, advising on pre-tender and post-contract matters\n\nDraft and issue contractual correspondence to clients and subcontractors\n\nBuild and maintain strong post-contract relationships with design teams and clients\n\nLead material procurement strategies and negotiate subcontract agreements\n\nEnsure timely submission of interim valuations and payments\n\nManage and resolve variations to optimise project value\n\nCertify subcontractor valuations and final accounts, and agree final accounts with clients\n\nConduct cost-value reconciliations and oversee regular project financial reports\n\nMonitor project schedules to ensure timely delivery\n\nDrive the professional development of the commercial team\n\nSkills & Experience:\nHNC/HND/BSc in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline; Chartered status or RICS membership preferred\n\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills\n\nStrong leadership with the ability to manage teams and foster collaboration\n\nCommercially aware, self-motivated, and proactive in problem-solving\n\nExperience managing multiple projects with attention to detail\n\nFlexible, adaptable, and able to work across different business areas\n\nCommitted to continuous improvement and adding value\n\nFull UK driving license\n\nDesirable:\nPrevious experience in a similar role or relevant placement\n\nSome knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects\n\nIn a nutshell\nAt Hopkins, our purpose is to always deliver high levels of customer service and industry knowledge.
