We are 100% remote but candidates must reside and be authorized to work in Costa Rica.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.\n\nCollaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.\n\nDevelop and maintain C#-based web services and APIs.\n\nWrite efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code following established development standards and best practices.\n\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues.\n\nParticipate in application deployments, releases, and ongoing production support.\n\nDesign and optimize SQL Server database objects, queries, and stored procedures as needed.\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement of application architecture, performance, reliability, and maintainability.\n\nPerform code reviews and provide technical guidance to other team members.\n\nParticipate in technical discussions and help drive solutions from requirements through implementation.\n\nExperience and Skills:\nSystem Ownership\nExperience supporting and enhancing production software throughout its lifecycle.\n\nAbility to independently drive features and technical initiatives from design through deployment.\n\nStrong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering business value.\n\nExperience working within established applications and evolving complex systems over time.\n\nTechnical Expertise\nStrong experience developing applications with C# and the .NET Framework/.NET platform.\n\nExperience building and maintaining C#-based web services and APIs.\n\nStrong SQL Server development experience, including database design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.\n\nExperience working with DevExpress controls and components.\n\nExperience with application installation, deployment, and maintenance.\n\nStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills.\n\nAbility to balance maintainability, performance, quality, and delivery timelines.\n\nCollaboration and Leadership\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\nExperience participating in code reviews and sharing technical knowledge across the team.\n\nAbility to work effectively in an agile environment with changing priorities.\n\nSelf-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.\n\nContinuous learner who stays current with software development best practices and technologies.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n5+ years of professional software development experience using C# and .NET.\n\nExperience developing and maintaining web services and APIs.\n\nStrong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.\n\nExperience working with DevExpress or similar enterprise UI frameworks.\n\nExperience supporting production applications, troubleshooting issues, and delivering enhancements.\n\nExperience with software deployment and release processes.\n\nStrong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and application architecture.\n\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.\n\nBenefits:\nThis is a full-time position with the following benefits:\nCompetitive Base Salary - Great work deserves great pay.
