Assigns work orders or special projects to maintenance employees\nMaintains department budget within specified guidelines.\nConducts preoperational inspection and handles maintenance concerns of Production Supervisors to make sure operation begins as scheduled.\nReviews maintenance purchase requisitions and submits for approval.\nTends to other duties as needed.\nRequired skills:\nBe able to communicate verbally and in written form in English\nAbility to perform general mathematical calculations.\nMechanical inclination and knowledge of job specifications.\nIndustrial construction experience beneficial.\nPrevious hourly maintenance and supervisor experience preferred.\nWork 40+ hours per week in all areas of the plant.\nConsiderable knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and practices used in the building, mechanical and electrical trades.\nPrevious mechanical and related experience required.\nConsiderable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.\nGood attendance record(Less than3points, for internal candidates)\nEducation Requirements (if applicable):\nTechnical schooling with mechanical or electrical emphasis helpful.\nHigh
