This role provides essential support to the Wagyu cattle procurement team through accounting, data management, reporting, and communication-related responsibilities. Key areas of focus include cattle cost and lot tracking, harvest data management, accounts payable, feed yard communication, and cattle producer communication. Success in this position requires accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of day-to-day tasks.\nResponsibilities:\nCalculate incoming cattle costs, enter feeding bills into cattle tracking software, and process payments\nAssist with month-end and year-end close activities for cattle and bull tracking\nCreate, invoice, ship, and track bull leases for JBS cattle producers\nParticipate in cattle forecasting meetings and track related agreements\nTrack, organize, and ship cattle DNA samples\nReport and track headcount discrepancies for ownership groups and provide monthly supporting documentation\nCommunicate with feed yards and review, enter, and update spreadsheets to track costs and performance\nPerform clerical duties, including answering phone calls and emails, reconciling information, maintaining Excel spreadsheets, and completing data entry\nBuild and maintain positive internal and external relationships\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nAssociate’s degree in accounting, Agricultural Business, or a related field preferred\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneNote\nValid driver’s license required\nExperience accurately entering high volumes of data within required timelines\nStrong critical thinking, organization, and problem-solving skills\nExperience with SAP, QlikSense, or other data analysis tools preferred\nCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonableaccommodation\nThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:\nBenefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;\nPaid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;\n401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;\nBase hourly pay range:$23.00-$25.00 per hour;\nCareer Development:Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs.\nThe posted salary range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.
