The Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager will ensure the implementation and maintenance of all company environmental, health, and safety programs as well as serve as the main point of contact in providing guidance and leadership for compliance and training items within their scope\nResponsibilities:\nDir Keep Management Team informed of Environmental, Health, and Safety Concerns or issues \nOversee Environmental Quality\nMonitor Air and Wastewater\nMonitor Health and Safety Regulations\nConduct Safety related investigations\nTrack Injury Trends and Develop Action Plans\nMonthly Ammonia and Hydrogen Sulfide testing\nTest Generator and Air Quality\nResponding to Citizen and Government Complaints\nCreating New Construction Permits\nProvide training support to the company and ensure all required training courses are \ncompleted/scheduled\nManage internal Reports (Safety Walkthrough, Safety Team Correspondence, Training Records)\nManage External Reports (Complaint Notifications, Inspection Reports, Notices of Violations, \nLegal Documents)\nRegulate Pollutants\nServe as the main point of contact when outside agencies come on-site to conduct annual \nAssessments\nOther duties as assigned \nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nFive or more years of environmental, health, and safety experience in the food/agriculture \nindustry or related experience preferred.\nBachelors/Master’s degree in Safety Engineering/Management or related fields preferred\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.\nAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\nExtensive knowledge in the areas of Workers Compensations, Osha, Safety, etc.\nAvailable 24/7 as needed\nStanding/Walking for Extended Periods of Time\nBending, pulling, reaching, and lifting on an as needed basis.\nFine Motor Skills (typing/handling tools)\nCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation\nAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
