The North America AP Operations Specialist position reports directly to the Global Accounts Payable Operations and Master Data Manager at JBT SSC.\nThe AP Operations specialist is responsible for assisting in invoice processing through AP Advantage, including entry of invoices, problem analysis and resolution.\nImportant qualities for this position are focus on data accuracy, time management and efficiency, detailed oriented as well as constructive collaboration with other departments, internal customers, and any other stakeholder. Timely delivery is key for full compliance with our Global Service Level Agreement. All activities under scope need to be executed under the strongest Internal Controls framework.\nCandidate Profile\nCore Competencies:\nAbility to perform under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines.\n\nTeamwork, detail oriented and multitask.\n\nProblem solving\n\nPlanning and organizing\n\nExcellent customer service skills\n\nCommunication and teamwork\n\nCommitment\n\nEfficiency and organization\n\nDetail oriented\n\nSkills\nDifferent ERPs knowledge\n\nSOX/SOD/Internal Controls proficiency.\n\nIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel\n\nData Accuracy\n\nStrong ability to work with minimal supervision.\n\nEducation/Experience\nBachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance; will consider years of experience in replacement of degree.\n\nAt least 2 years of related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience\n\nExperience in Accounts Payable and financial systems.\n\nExperience in communication with business internal customers and external suppliers to resolve issues\n\nHigh English level (B2-C1), good written and oral communication skills.\n\nMobility\nTravelling internationally might be required occasionally.\n\nDuties and Key Responsibilities\nUtilize APAdvantage automation tool to drive invoice processing, approvals, efficiencies, automation and compliance.\n\nInvoice booking process directly on ERP for certain Entities.\n\nInvoice VAT codes review.\n\nReview of APAdvantage correspondence and exception inbox.\n\nProcessing of vendor invoices and credit memos.\n\nWeekly meetings with puschasing teams to resolve issues and improve processes.\n\nLeasing invoices review and processing.\n\nUtilities’ invoices review and processing.\n\nProvide assistance to facilitate the recording of expenditures.\n\nERP knowledge to perform any analysis needed to complete the invoice booking process.\n\nConstant cooperation with AP Accounting team and other SSC departments.\n\nCommunication with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nCommunicate higher level / more complex issues to AP Supervisor and/or Global AP Operations Manager.\n\nOther projects and responsibilities may be added to the company’s discretion.\n\nCooperation with APAdvantage owner (PNC) and JBT IT teams.\n\nAdvanced payment invoices analysis and booking process.\n\nIntercompany tableau report analysis to review and process IC PO invoices\n\nMobility: Position based in Madrid (San Fernando de Henares) and limited travelling within European Union or USA might be required.\nWe are excited to meet individuals who are enthusiastic about making things happen, take personal responsibility and appreciate seeing the direct results of their work in the final product.
