Formova Automated Systems business is a leading global supplier of automated, self-guided vehicle systems (AGVs) to the automotive, food & beverage, hospital and consumer product manufacturing industries. With offices in the United States and Europe, we are one of the world’s leading producers of automated vehicle systems.\nYou will be responsible for working with our customers to support software and functionality with our systems. Our Application Engineers perform a variety of mainly straightforward or routine assignments. They use prescribed guidelines or procedures to analyze and resolve problems. They work with a moderate level of guidance and direction. You may train new team members and provide input to employee performance evaluations.\nResponsibilities:\nHas working knowledge and experience in their discipline and continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers.\nSupports application engineering activities by analyzing customer requirements and defined use cases.\nAssists with configuration, testing, and validation of product applications.\nProvides technical input to support proposals, specifications, and customer documentation.\nCollaborates with sales and engineering teams to clarify application requirements.\nSupports troubleshooting of application-related issues during pre- and post-sales activities.\nPrepares standard technical documentation and application notes.\nExecutes assigned engineering tasks in accordance with established standards.\nMaintains accurate records of application assumptions and configurations.\nEscalates complex technical challenges to senior engineers.\nPerforms a variety of mainly straightforward or routine assignments. Uses prescribed guidelines or procedures to analyze and resolve problems.\nWorks with a moderate level of guidance and direction. May train new team members and provide input to employee performance evaluations.\nDesign, develop, and modify software solutions that control a fleet of automated guided vehicles.\nDevelop and implement software within the Microsoft Windows development environment using C#, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server.\nUtilize Jira to track support tickets and changes to customer systems.\nFamiliarity with XML / JSON.\nComplete assignments both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.\nSupport customer systems following project completion.\no Realtime support of emergency issues.\no Diagnose and debug existing software.\no Coordinate with customers and process Jira tickets.\no Implement customer-requested changes/modifications to existing systems following department processes.\nPerform upgrades to existing Formova project sites.\nEducation, Knowledge, and Experience\nBachelor's degree (B.
