Poultry Innovation, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of vision-based inspection and processing systems for the global poultry industry.\nThis role goes beyond traditional software development.\nYou will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded vision platforms that power advanced poultry processing and inspection solutions.\nYou will work at the intersection of embedded Linux, industrial imaging, artificial intelligence, machine vision, and high-performance computing.\nYou will collaborate closely with innovation, product development, software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to create robust vision solutions that deliver accuracy, speed, and reliability in demanding industrial environments.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong expertise in embedded software engineering, machine vision, Linux-based systems, and industrial automation with a passion for innovation and technical leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nEmbedded Vision System Development & Architecture\nArchitect, develop, and maintain embedded vision systems running on Linux-based ARM platforms.\nDesign scalable and reliable vision system architectures supporting next-generation poultry processing equipment.\nIntegrate industrial cameras, sensors, and illumination systems for high-speed image acquisition and analysis.\nOptimize system performance to meet real-time processing and throughput requirements in industrial environments.\nSupport standardization and future-proofing of vision platforms across multiple product lines.\nSoftware Engineering & AI Deployment\nDevelop and optimize software components in C++ and Python for image processing, machine control, and data handling.\nBuild containerized vision applications using Docker for scalable deployment and reproducible environments.\nImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.\nDeploy and manage AI inference workloads using Triton Inference Server to enable real-time decision-making on embedded hardware.\nDevelop lightweight configuration and monitoring interfaces where needed.\nVision Technology Integration & Validation\nWork in multidisciplinary project teams alongside project managers, vision application engineers, system architects, electrical engineers, and software engineers.\nCollaborate with mechanical, electrical, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of vision systems into complete machine solutions.\nTroubleshoot complex system-level issues involving hardware, software, networking, and camera interfaces.\nDefine validation and verification strategies and execute system testing activities.\nEnsure solutions meet quality, reliability, safety, and performance requirements.\nTechnical Leadership & Innovation\nLead technical design reviews and contribute to key architectural decisions.\nMentor junior engineers and support technical skill development within the team.\nCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.\nContribute to the long-term vision technology roadmap for Poultry Innovation.\nIdentify and evaluate emerging technologies in embedded computing, AI, and machine vision to maintain technology leadership.\nWhat kind of person are you?\nYou will recognize yourself in the following:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.\n5+ years of experience in embedded software development, machine vision, or industrial automation environments.\nStrong experience with Embedded Linux and ARM-based platforms.\nProficiency in C++ and Python software development.\nExperience integrating industrial cameras, image acquisition systems, and vision hardware.\nHands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD practices and modern software development methodologies.\nExperience deploying or supporting AI inference frameworks, preferably Triton Inference Server.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex multidisciplinary systems.\nProven ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on when needed.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines.\nBroad technical knowledge spanning vision technology, software, electronics, automation, and machine integration.\nWell-structured approach to documentation, validation, reporting, and knowledge sharing.\nExcellent English skills, both written and verbal.
