The primary role is to support the production areas and keep all equipment in safe and good working order.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nPerforms day-to-day maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.\nResponds to equipment downtime issues in a timely manner and identifies problems.\nConducts proactive and preventative care maintenance by identifying issues before concerns or breakdowns occur.\nRecords and documents all related repairs and parts issues as needed.\nReviews current assets and determines reliability and or performance concerns for attention.\nMust be able to perform duties in a work order-based system.\nMaintains all regulatory compliance related to facilities, grounds and equipment.\nAssists in facilities maintenance as needed.\nTrains maintenance technicians\nRecognizes and knows the function of most plant equipment\nOperates all lifts and forklifts\nAssists and help lead emergency repairs and breakdowns\nAnswers more advanced troubleshooting calls without assistance\nShows initiative in pointing out ideas for continuous improvement\nComplies with all Safety rules and regulations, including:Compliance with all written safety procedures, policies, and work practices.\nReports all incidents including injuries and illnesses, near misses, property damage, chemical spills and fires to your supervisor immediately.\nParticipates in safety meetings, training, and committees.\nReports all hazards, unsafe conditions or unsafe behaviors to your supervisor.\nIntervenes with co-workers when unsafe behaviors are observed.\nIntervene whenever unsafe conditions and unsafe acts are observed and reinforce safe behavior when observed.\nParticipates in weekly Safety Toolbox Talks\nConducts required inspections.\n\nEducation & Experience:\n2-3 years’ experience in a maintenance role or manufacturing environment is required.\nThe successful candidate must demonstrate ability to deal with multiple priorities and deadlines, and the ability to work effectively in a changing work environment.
