Our Støvring site plays a key role within the Prepared Foods division, where engineering expertise meets real-world food processing challenges.\nAbout the Role\nAs our new Mechanical Order Engineer you will, together with your colleagues, be focusing on our portfolio within prepared foods that includes mixers and grinders. You will be a part of a team of 70 colleagues that is located in both Denmark, Germany, Scotland and the Netherlands. In your daily work you will be a part of a multidisciplinary team of about 8 members based in Denmark. As a Mechanical Engineer you can use all your creativity to create innovative design solutions that will improve our equipment in performance, robustness and cost. If you like to be in a position where you can turn ideas into mechanical designs and industrial solutions, this is the perfect role for you.\nIf you’re driven by technology, innovation, and making a global impact, we want to hear from you!\n Key Responsibilities\nYour daily to-do list will look like this:\nBe responsible for a group of equipment, driving the necessary design updates to continuously improve that equipment.\nBe responsible for the correctness of the technical documentation to enable flawless manufacturability to the most cost-effective method.\nBe responsible for making sure our equipment stays up to date with the latest safety requirements and relevant international standards.\nIn cooperation with a multidisciplinary project team, efficiently configure, design and develop all mechanical aspects of solutions we deliver to our customers. This includes creating bills of materials, assemblies, components, drawings and documentation as required in our 3D CAD and PDM system according to the Product Development Process (PDP).\nPaying particular attention to the implementation of the functional, hygienic and cleaning aspects, reliability, safety, production technologies and cost price.\nBe responsible for timely delivery of the specifications needed for the delivered solutions\nWhat kind of person are you?\nWe encourage each of our 12,000+ employees to bring their unique self to work and aim to make everyone feel recognized, valued and free to explore their potential. You will recognize in yourself that you:\nHold a degree within engineering such as mechanical, mechatronics or other technical fields.\nHave some years’ experience in the engineering of technical systems from a similar industry, preferably the food industry\nHave experience with drawing tools, databases, and programming for preparation of documentation\nAre familiar with CAD and PDM/PLM tools.\nHave good English skills, both written and verbal\nAre a team player with the ability to communicate within a multidisciplinary team\nThe job requires the ability to travel on an as-needs basis which is estimated to 5-10% of your time.\nWhy Join Us?\nAt JBT Marel, what we do matters.
