As we Create with Collaboration, Serve with Integrity, Grow with Excellence, and Advance with Innovation.\nAs our Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of automated industrial equipment and material handling solutions.\nYou will work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, applying first-principles thinking, creativity, and practical problem-solving to develop reliable, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions.\nOn a given day, you may:\nDesign and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using 3D CAD software.\nCreate engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.\nSupport projects throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development through manufacturing, testing, and commissioning.\nApply lean design principles and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).\nPerform engineering calculations and evaluate designs for functionality, safety, reliability, and cost.\nCollaborate with production, electrical and software engineering, purchasing, and service teams to deliver engineering solutions.\nWork with suppliers and vendors to support engineering deliverables.\nParticipate in hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and design validation.\nIdentify opportunities for standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.\nSupport engineering changes and maintain accurate product documentation.\nTravel (up to 20%) domestically and report onsite in Chalfont, PA.\nQualifications (Required)\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\n0-3 years of relevant engineering experience.\nProficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably Creo and Windchill.\nKnowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.\nHands-on mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.\nQualifications (Preferred)\nGeometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\nDesign for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)\nMechanical automation and material handling systems\nMachining, fabrication, and welding processes\nProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems\nFinite Element Analysis (FEA)Python or other programming language \nWhat Makes You Successful\nCollaborative: Enjoys working across disciplines and learning from others.\nCurious: Demonstrates a growth mindset and challenges conventional thinking.\nPractical: Applies hands-on problem-solving skills grounded in engineering fundamentals.\nInnovative: Seeks opportunities to simplify designs to improve products.\nAccountable: Takes ownership of engineering deliverables and follows through.\nWe are committed to our employees and will provide you with development and opportunities to allow you to be the best version of yourself at work, at home, and in your community.\nWe foster a genuine inclusive team culture enjoying collaborative working across our global teams to deliver world-class projects.\nWe encourage development - ensuring new experiences and challenges at JBT Marel to feed your growth!\nBenefits: JBT Marel offers benefits on day 1 of your employment.
