and operate lathes and mills.\nVersed in Rotary or Indexing capability as the application applies to the Vertical and Horizontal Machine Center.\nOperates equipment in a safe and efficient manner using proper feed and speed\nTakes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level\nAssess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments and malfunction troubleshooting.\nPerforms and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventive maintenance\nDemonstrates high degree of ownership for product quality: check parts to ensure specifications are met according to print.\nUnderstands production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions and production inventories.\nOperates lift truck with certification.\nMust review, acknowledge and follow the Company Safety Policy including Safety Glasses and Steel Toed Shoes.\nOther duties assigned due to the need of the business.\nPhysical/Environmental Requirements\nManufacturing environment: may be exposed to loud noises, machinery with moving parts.\nBending, stooping, twist, turn, sitting for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50lbs occasionally.\nSkills and Abilities\nundefined\nGood communication skills and ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment.\nAbility to execute agreed tasks and deadlines against performance criteria (KPI)\nResult orientation, ability to follow through and respect deadlines.\nProactive and organized.\nAbility to manage confidential information.\nPhysical Capacity Profile/Drug screen required.\n\nEducation, Knowledge, and Experience\nCompletion of Apprenticeship program or Technical school preferred\nOne (1) year of work experience within manufacturing, or a technical and/or trade discipline.\nDemonstrated competency in computer and PC software including MS Office and email\nKnowledge of inventory control
