By combining precision engineering with customer-centric design, Tipper Tie enables food processors to streamline operations, maintain the highest hygiene standards, and rapidly adapt to evolving market demands.\nThe added value lies in delivering end-to-end solutions-from equipment and clips to service and digital support-that optimize performance, maximize uptime, and help customers bring high-quality, secure products to market faster and more sustainably.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer / Mechanical Engineer who will:\nOptimize and maintain our existing production equipment and processes\nDesign and update machine parts and convert old / hand drawings into proper 3D models\nDrive process improvements, automation and innovation projects\nAct as a technical bridge between production, operations, quality and sales, ensuring our products and capabilities match market and customer needs\nThe role is almost 100% on-site in Glinde, working very closely with operators and mechanics on the shop floor.\nWhat You’ll Do\nIn this role you are the technical backbone of our clip production in Glinde. You turn old machines and hand drawings into modern, efficient, well-documented equipment. You spend your time where the action is - directly in production with operators and mechanics - and use your mechanical know-how and SolidWorks skills to improve machines, reduce waste, and prepare our site for the next generation of automation and products.\nTypical daily to-do’s\nBe on the shop floor, talk with operators/mechanics, understand issues and ideas\nAnalyze downtime, scrap and bottlenecks and define concrete improvement measures\nUse SolidWorks to model and update machine parts and convert old/hand drawings\nPlan and support modifications and upgrades of existing presses and equipment\nEvaluate and implement automation/innovation ideas with internal and external partners\nAlign with quality and sales so that machine capabilities match customer and market needs\nDocument changes and ensure that drawings and technical data are always up to date\nWhat You Bring\nWe encourage each of our 12,000+ employees to bring their unique self to work and aim to make everyone feel recognized, valued and free to explore their potential. You will recognize in yourself that you:\nHave an engineering degree (or equivalent technical background), for example: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation / Electrical Engineering \nLocated in or near Glinde\nHands-on experience with industrial machinery / production lines\nStrong experience with 3D CAD specifically SolidWorks (or similar)\nAbility to design and modify machine parts and assemblies\nExperience with production/industrial machinery (maintenance, improvement, or design)\nAble to analyze and improve production processes (productivity, quality, waste reduction, uptime)\n Fluent German (daily communication with operators, mechanics, and internal stakeholders)\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with:\nPresses and forming of aluminum or similar metal-forming processes\nAutomation / robotics and integration of such systems into production lines\nProject management with external engineering firms, machine suppliers, or automation partners\n Food processing / food packaging industry (understanding of sector-specific requirements)\nExperience in modernizing old machines and drawings (e.g., converting hand drawings to 3D models, upgrading legacy equipment)\nExposure to continuous improvement methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma - even at a basic level)\nAbility to support quality with simple fixtures or devices to speed up measurements and checks\nWhy Join Us?\nWe are the kind of people who find purpose in creating things.
