You will designs, builds, and maintains reporting and analytics solutions that provides JBT Marel organization insights on all HR related data and supports decision making across the company. This role owns Workday reporting as its primary focus including custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and Workday Prism/Discovery Boards while also contributing to broader analytics initiatives using Power BI, and AI-assisted tools such as Copilot and Data Bricks. The ideal candidate translates business questions from stakeholders into accurate, scalable, and well-governed reporting solutions, and helps the team modernize how HR data is accessed and consumed.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain Workday custom reports (advanced, matrix, composite) using calculated fields, business objects, and report groups.\nDevelop and maintain Workday dashboards and Discovery Boards for HR leadership, HRBPs, and operational teams.\nDesign, develop, maintain, and optimize Workday BIRT reports to support HR, payroll, and workforce analytics needs, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of actionable insights to business stakeholders.\nPartner with Workday HCM governance, business, and functional teams (Recruiting, Time, Absence, Payroll, Talent, Compensation) to ensure reporting aligns with data and change control standards.\nBuild and support reporting/data pipelines in Power BI, connecting to Workday and other HR data sources for cross-functional dashboards.\nLeverage other sources for data preparation, transformation, and larger-scale or cross-system reporting needs beyond native Workday capabilities.\nUse Copilot and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate report development, documentation, and data quality checks, in line with data governance and security requirements.\nTranslate ambiguous business requests into clear reporting requirements, mock-ups, and delivery timelines.\nPerform data validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis when reports or dashboards produce unexpected results.\nMaintain documentation for report logic, data lineage, and refresh schedules to support audit and SOX compliance needs.\nSupport ad hoc and recurring reporting requests tied to headcount, turnover, compensation, and other core HR metrics.\nIdentify opportunities to consolidate, standardize, automate, or retire redundant reports across tools.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of experience building reports in Workday (custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards); Workday Report Writer certification preferred.\nWorking proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling and dashboard design.\nExposure to Databricks or similar cloud data platforms (SQL, notebooks, or pipeline concepts).\nComfort using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot) for report development and documentation.\nStrong SQL skills and general data literacy across relational data structures.\nExperience working with HR or people data and an understanding of common HR metrics.\nStrong attention to detail, particularly around data accuracy, security, and compliance (SOX or similar controls experience a plus).\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical HR stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Workday Prism Analytics.\nFamiliarity with HR shared services / Global People Services operating models.\nExperience supporting multi-region or global HR reporting requirements.\nBackground in change control or data governance frameworks.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nIn the first six months, the Report Analyst becomes a trusted owner of core Workday reporting, reduces turnaround time on standard requests, and begins extending select dashboards into Power BI or Databricks where it adds value - all while maintaining the documentation and governance standards required for a SOX-compliant environment.\nTravel & Location\nThis position is fully remote, and we ask that you travel approximately 25% of the time.\nWhy JBT Marel\nWe are committed to our employees and will provide you with development and opportunities to allow you to be the best version of yourself at work, at home, and in your community.\nWe foster a genuine inclusive team culture enjoying collaborative working across our global teams to deliver world-class projects.\nWe encourage development - ensuring new experiences and challenges at JBT Marel to feed your growth!\n Benefits: JBT Marel offers benefits on day 1 of your employment.
