Working closely with product management, engineering, and customers, they create intelligent control systems and user-friendly interfaces that help maintain JBT Marel's position as a technology leader in the poultry industry.\nAbout the Role\nAs Scrum Master within Controls Engineering, you will facilitate two PLC & HMI development teams operating in a machine development environment at the intersection of software and hardware engineering. Working closely with the Product Owner, you will help create and sustain a high-performing, self-managing, and continuously improving delivery organization.\nYou will play a key role in contributing to the broader Agile transformation by helping define, implement, and scale Agile processes across the organization, providing clear insight into their impact and business value through measurable outcomes.\nThrough coaching, facilitation, and servant leadership, you will help teams maximize their potential while fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.\nDo you enjoy empowering teams, removing obstacles, and creating an environment where people and technology can thrive together?\nWhat You’ll Do\nTeam Leadership & Delivery\nPartner with the Product Owner to drive high performance, ownership, and predictable delivery.\nCreate and maintain the conditions for team success, including focus, clarity, and a sustainable pace.\nSupport the team in achieving sprint goals and improving overall delivery effectiveness.\nFacilitation & Flow\nFacilitate Scrum and Kanban events, ensuring they are effective and time-boxed.\nUse relevant Agile metrics to monitor team effectiveness and drive improvement initiatives.\nCoordinate with other teams to manage dependencies and ensure smooth delivery flow.\nIdentify, remove, or escalate impediments, including organizational blockers.\nNavigate dependencies between Agile software teams and non-Agile stakeholders or processes.\nSupport continuous flow and delivery optimization across engineering teams.\nCoaching & Capability Building\nCoach team members in Scrum and Kanban practices and improve team dynamics.\nEmpower teams to gradually reduce dependency on the Scrum Master role.\nTeach, mentor, and coach teams on the JBT Marel Software Development Process, ensuring knowledge is adopted and sustained.\nSupport the development of Agile capabilities and continuous learning across the organization.\nCulture & Collaboration\nFoster a culture of collaboration, transparency, openness, and trust.\nAct as a role model for JBT Marel values within the team and broader organization.\nEngage with stakeholders, manage expectations, and communicate clearly on progress and delivery.\nCollaborate closely with Engineering Managers on team performance, growth, and objectives.\nContribute to an environment where teams feel supported, empowered, and motivated to succeed.\nWhat You Bring\nWe encourage each of our employees to bring their unique self to work and aim to make everyone feel recognized, valued, and free to explore their potential.
